Community Navigators
Community Navigators help with essential services and programs that can often be overwhelming for newcomers – enrolling children in school, applying for government benefits, finding meaningful employment, navigating the healthcare system, and much more.
Navigation work is rooted in compassion and aims to honor individual challenges and their unique solutions. The team is comprised of individuals from the communities we serve, and their shared lived experience, language and culture allow for greater understanding and empowerment of the local refugee community.
Goal
To ensure that clients feel seen, understood, and safe within Project Worthmore’s walls, fostering a sense of community, empowering clients to be self-sufficient, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting a world where all people are valued, included, and empowered.
Help Refugees Navigate a New Environment
